My first hair product review! Now this isn't a full on tutorial, it will be a brief summary and my personal thoughts on the product! If you haven't heard of the MiraCurl Curling Iron it is the first fully automated curling iron which makes it perfect for creating consistent curls easily. All you do is take a piece of your hair and put it in between the curling iron and close the handles and then your hair will automatically be sucked into the machine! (picture below)

What's even more convenient is that it comes with a little beeping timer and settings which you can choose from 8, 10, and 12 seconds along with manual mode (no timer). The timer goes off to let you know when to let go of your hair. There are also various heat settings and option for choosing left, right or alternating curls. In addition, if you take a section of hair that is too big, the curling iron will automatically beep and release so that your hair won't get jammed.

Here are close ups of what these curls look like individually. The picture on top is a piece of longer hair and (because I have layers) the picture right above is a piece of my shorter hair. You can see that both curls are perfectly formed and identical.

I think this curling iron does a perfect job of what its suppose to do which is create perfect long lasting curls! It only takes about 10 minutes for me to do my hair, which is amazing knowing that I have pretty thick hair. But, to answer the question of whether its worth buying or not definitely depends on the person. Personally, I could go without it, as I am used to curling hair and I can create good curls using a regular curling iron, but this is great for people may not be used to curling their hair on a daily basis. It's really easy to learn and all you have to do is hold the handles! But, the price is really expensive, about $100-200! Good new is that there are more and more alternatives, such as the connair version, which is much cheaper.

So overall  I would say the only downside is the price so the rest is up to you guys! I hope you enjoyed my review and there will be more coming up! If there are any suggestions for what to review next leave them in the comment below.
